FLAGGER: $19.72 per hr. PUD 3 is currently seeking part-time traffic control flaggers to keep our community moving! Applicants must be willing to work on an on-call basis, maintain a current flagging card issued by the state of Washington, maintain a current CPR/First Aid card, and perform all flagging duties required to maintain a safe and efficient work area for PUD crews. All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

JOURNEYMAN LINEMEN:  All applicants must hold a journeyman lineman’s card, be able to pass a physical examination, a written technical knowledge examination and a practical test, possess or be able to obtain a Washington state class “A” commercial driver’s license in order to operate utility trucks and have a good driving record. Successful applicants must be willing to live within 30 minutes travel time under normal conditions of their regularly assigned headquarters or live within the district’s service territory.

STUDENT TRAINEE: Part-time positions within the utility are available from time-to-time for full-time high school or college students.  Positions duties range from clerical to laborer.  The student employment program at the PUD is designed to afford practical experience in the workplace, encourage continuing education and to assist with educational expenses.
