San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) offers a variety of rebates to customers for the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment and appliances. Both residential and commercial customers are eligible to participate in this program. Eligible equipment includes geothermal heat pumps, central air conditioners, air source heat pumps, water heaters, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dishwashers, electric motors, lighting, and weatherization measures.
All purchased appliances must be ENERGY STAR rated in order to qualify. To participate, rebate applications must be received within 90 days of product purchase and delivery. All rebates over $1,000 will be scheduled for inspection. Applications must be submitted by December 15th. See program website for further details.
