Gardner Engineering, based in Ogden, Utah at 5875 Adams Avenue Parkway, offers a broad range of engineering and surveying services resulting from years of experience serving public and private clients. Mr. Ken Gardner founded the firm in 1991. In early 2006, Mr. Gardner sold the firm to some key employees, but continues to work for the company to help ensure the continued success and professional capacity of Gardner Engineering.
Gardner Engineering is dedicated to meeting the needs of our clients. We strive to improve and expand our knowledge and expertise to meet all of our clients’ civil engineering and surveying needs, but in the instances where we do not have the capabilities to effectively meet those needs, we have many varied professional associations to draw upon to help each client’s project reach a successful conclusion.
Gardner Engineering utilizes the latest computer design, surveying and drafting technology to manage client needs. Sewer and water master-planning can be performed in-house and are backed by advanced computer modeling. Our professional partners also utilize advanced software packages to assist and strengthen the design and solution generation for each client. All plans and data files are computer generated, allowing for electronic file transfer and project coordination.
Gardner's engineering team has experience providing services on a variety of federal, state, county and local government projects. We know and understand UDOT and FHWA guidelines and procedures. Gardner Engineering is totally committed to providing high quality and accurate Engineering surveying and design services. We have a Quality Assurance / Quality Control plan for all work completed in our office, that meets or exceeds industry standards. Repeat customers are the best evidence of high quality performance. A large percentage of the work we do is for repeat clientele.
Gardner Engineering employs both Professional Surveyors and Professional Engineers, with some employees being licensed in both professions. Gardner Engineering utilizes the latest computer design, surveying and drafting technology to create and manage client needs. AutoCad Civil 3D, ArchaCad, for site renderings, flyovers, and walkthroughs. Gardner Engineering also utilizes the most current Real Time Kinematic (RTK) Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) and robotic surveying equipment to map and inventory utility and survey monument locations. In addition the GPS equipment is utilized to develop in place volume computations, contour maps and perform boundary, topographic and construction surveys.
