Chris Meehan - Contributing Writer
Chris Meehan is not a rocket scientist. Chris is a writer and communications specialist with more than 9 years of professional experience, including a five-year stint editing and writing health care business newsletters in the spiderweb of politics that is Washington, D.C. He is independently published in newspapers, Web sites and magazines. Through his work with the Colorado Environmental Coalition Chris has helped pass statewide conservation and renewable energy legislation, including the state’s renewable energy standard.
Although Chris hasn’t leapt any tall buildings recently—the last was probably a gingerbread house—he likes wandering in the mountains, climbing 14er’s and enjoying Colorado’s seemingly endless mountain meadows. When he’s not writing about solar power and sustainability he’s usually found “out there” with a dazed, happy look on his face or watching live music in Denver.
