Program Description

The applicant must first contact the participating energy contractor listed in the program website. The energy consultant will schedule for a home energy assessment. The home assessment is categorized into two tiers. All residences are eligible for first tier assessment where, the energy contractor will perform a walk-through assessment and install various qualifying equipment with applicant’s approval. These equipment include fluorescent light bulbs, low flow showerheads, and faucet aerators.

The program requires that all of the installation must be performed by a participating contractor. The program website includes a list of participating contractors for the program. These contractors have registered with the program and have undergone training to provide quality installations as required by the program.
