16 Rural Kentucky Electric Cooperatives participate in the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives program. These cooperatives participate in multiple programs that offer savings and rebates to customers. Most cooperatives offer heat pump rebates, weatherization rebates, a thermostat participation program, participation in the Energy Star Manufactured Home program, and the Community Assistance Resources for Energy Savings (CARES) program which provides an incentive to enhance the weatherization and energy efficiency services provided to the end-use members by the Kentucky Community Action Agencies (CAA) network.
