As part of the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour, Solar Electrical Systems of Westlake Village will host a FREE guided Solar Homes Tour in the Thousand Oaks area from 10:30am to 1:30pm on Saturday, October 3, 2009. Participants will be able to tour green homes and businesses, including two solar Eichler homes, talk to owners, and see first-hand how they are using solar energy and energy efficiency to reduce monthly utility bills and go green. It’s an opportunity to get answers to questions about solar, and see how solar is incorporated into the design of homes and businesses.
