An International Partnership to Establish an Associate Degree Program in Solar Energy Technology (SET).
In 2007, the government of Jordan committed itself to increasing the share of renewable energy in its energy use portfolio to 7% by 2015 and reach 10% by the year 2020 as a strategy to address the unmanageable cost of its energy consumption, which has reached 20% of its annual Gross Domestic Product.
