Solar Panel Demand Rising

Evolution Solar Corporation released a press release Tuesday announcing that according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance (NEF), “new demand for solar panels may double this year as Germany and other European countries offer guaranteed, above market rates for the power produced.”  In the NEF photovoltaic industry outlook, solar panel installations are predicted to rise between 11.5 gigawatts and 14.8 gigawatts this year from 7.3 in 2009.

We have been moving into position to take advantage of the expected high future demand,” said Robert Hnes, President of EVSO. “As a company that operates on the international stage, we anticipate that this will translate into greater business for Evolution Solar.”   Evolution Solar commercializes solar energy technologies and is also a consultant agency to organizations in their plans for alternative energy contracts with public utilities.
