Matt Greer is a native Oregonian, raised in NW Portland. He attended South Salem High School, Southern Oregon University and Portland State.He is a certified American Sailing Association Instructor for Small Boat, Basic Keelboat, Coastal Cruising, and Bareboat Charter courses.In January 2003 Matt obtained his 100 Ton United States Coast Guard Captain’s license. He has taught sailing in both Washington’s San Juan Islands as well as on the Columbia River off Hayden Island.Matt loves being a father to his wonderful son, Sam. The two of them can be found hanging out together at the park, playing music, or on a host of other adventures around town and across the state.
