Solar Liberty is committed to promoting energy independence through widespread installation of solar electric systems with a focus on engineering for system optimization. We further promote the technology through wholesale distribution of photovoltaic (PV) solar components.

Solar Liberty was founded in 2003, by brothers Adam Rizzo and Nathan Rizzo. The company grew quickly and was recognized by Inc. magazine on the list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in 2008, ranking 92 in the country and 5th among energy companies. Our team is growing with enthusiastic people who share the common vision of spreading renewable energy for a brighter future.
Nathan Rizzo, our lead installer, holds a PV certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Nathan is also an eligible PV installer with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). An integral part of our company is to work closely with the Solar Liberty Foundation (www.solarliberty.org) whose mission is to provide renewable energy resources to people in rural areas of less developed nations. Solar Liberty is committed to donating funding and solar equipment to the Solar Liberty Foundation to support their worldwide cause.
