Demonstrators exhibit our quality products in retail locations to attract prospective customers and generate sales leads. Successful candidates will be outgoing, intelligent, neat in appearance and be able to maintain a tidy booth for varied shifts. They will be flexible and willing to work at retail locations and festivals as assigned. Lead generation is the measuring stick of success in this role. Full time employees should be able to generate 4 leads within an 8 hour shift. Part time demonstrators are expected to generate at least 2 appointments per shift
The Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of whole-home performance solutions related to energy efficiency, comfort, and durability. In-home consultations will include a comprehensive assessment with an energy audit, development of a solution/quote and work scope and closing of the product and service sale. The individual is responsible for answering customer questions about products, prices and service availability and for reviewing the job site to ensure that the work can be performed in a timely and efficient manner.Prepares creative action plans and schedules for identifying prospective customers and to project the number of contacts to be made. Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge. Consistently sources and follows up on new leads and referrals. Establish and maintain outstanding customer relationships. Have a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models. Develops presentations of quotes and work scopes for job completion. Sells consultatively and recommends solutions which include products and services based on customer needs and interests. Effectively maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing product and service sales. Embodies and communicates the brand image though the in-home sales process as well as through supplemental customer relationship building initiatives. Monitors market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
