Scudder Solar was founded in 2007 with the goal of building a brighter, cleaner future for the local Monterey-Santa Cruz region - a future that would ensure the economic and environmental benefits of solar power would lead to a healthy, thriving local green economy, and a cleaner climate for all. With Pete Scudder and Mark Jacobi heading up our local, in-house team of design consultants, estimators, engineers and electricians, Scudder Solar is dedicated to creating sustainable communities in the Monterey Bay area powered by advocacy, education and the aggressive support and adoption of new technologies. With over 10 MW of residential and commercial solar power installed locally (that's enough energy to reduce our CO2 emissions by 14,600 tons per year or supply power to some 2000 households which is the equivalent of a small city!), Scudder Solar has the expertise to handle any project size and integrate high-efficiency solar with any type of roofing application.
